JUDGING CRITERIA
All vehicles will be judged by the following criteria:
| Detail |
Engine |
Glass/Moldings/Rubber (except tires) |
Interior |
| Trunk area |
Undercarriage |
Judges overal opinion of the car |
Wheels/Tires |
Each item listed above will be scored on a scale of 1 - 5.
Any area that cannot be seen or is not accessible (i.e. trunk or hood
closed or windows rolled up) will receive a score of 0.
In addition to the mandatory 1 - 5 scoring, the judges may
award up to 3 optional points for each criteria. This was devised
specifically for the H2O classes to level the playing field between
"garage queen show-only" or "fresh off the showroom floor stock"
vehicles and daily-driven modified vehicles. The air-cooled
classes also adopted this same scoring method for their
cars to
help simplify the organization of the judging.

JUDGES
All judging is done on a volunteer basis ( We Need Judges! Contact Bob Rice
at 816-588-1040 to help with judging!), and someone will
announce over the PA system when they're ready for judges to congregate
at the main building to pick up scoring sheets. We encourage show
entrants and spectators to participate in the judging. Judging for each
class is done with two people, and those two judges will confer with
each other and agree upon the point value to award each car for each
criteria. Those who have never judged before are paired up with someone
who has experience. You can judge any class your car is not entered in.
These guidelines were devised for the highest level of fairness.
